a text file (MS -DOS) with ~3000 numbers and I need a code/program that I can execute using a C++ or fortran compiler that will look through the numbers in the data set and will select the numbers that are greater than Pi and from those numbers only subtract 2*Pi. It is key that this manipulation will only change the values of numbers greater than Pi (not their order in the list), replacing that value with the value that has 2*Pi subtracted from it.
